History, Personality, and Skills
History:
Born on the rougher streets of Wayrest, Finn lives a life that to the casual observer seems to not involve 'work' as most know it. He has numerous casual friends and acquaintances among the working classes, and can be free with both words and even coin at times. Despite his lack of credentials, he's occasionally been seen in the company of nobles.
Personality:
Finn often uses his understated presence to listen and observe, standing on the edge of conversation but rarely joining in with anything substantial. If pressed, he will direct inquiries away from himself and onto less personal ground. He possesses a wry, dark sense of humor that he uses freely and sometimes his mouth will get him into trouble as his sarcasm overrides his good sense. Although he tends to be quiet and observant, he can be quite charming and a very smooth talker.
He is clearly literate, seemingly enjoying reading and can be found in libraries at times.
Discernible Weapons:
Wears a pair of oversized daggers at the waist, with another blade attached to his left boot. Sometimes favors an additional blade sheathed hilt down on his right chest. When needed, he will carry a large bow of dark wood and a selection of black arrows.

Hooks
1. If you are from High Rock and part of the criminal underworld, you and Finn have probably crossed paths at some point. Although he is a member of the Thieves Guild, he is not a member of the Midnight Union. He freelances in and around Wayrest and across High Rock proper. The promise of a lucrative payday is enough for him to travel.
2. Wayrest was shaken by a quadruple murder last Evening Star. The four victims included an older scholar, two unknown men with extensive criminal records, and a member of the city guard. Finn worked for the slain scholar, a man named Tolen Verus. No arrests have been made in the case.3. He is not on good terms with Count Hosni at-Tura and the Midnight Union, an uneasy truce existing between the gang and Finn. The reasons for this mutual enmity are not publicly known.4 Need to acquire a valuable item that is in someone else's possession?
Perhaps you desire to gain access to a location warded with a variety of difficult locks and or traps?
Maybe you need to discover information on a specific locale or person?

Rumors"I swore to his mother I would take care of him as if he were my own. And I have."
--Brigid Medford, proprietor, The Three Roses, Wayrest
"Damn if he isn't like a shadow himself at times. Jus' like the dark of night. Never see him comin' or goin', he's just there, sudden like...as if the shadows spawned 'im"
--Davide Retene, Foal's Rest Stables, Wayrest
"Finn? He's a good man, you can trust his word. Did you need me to take a letter for him?"
--Cherese Brigette, Innkeeper, The Cloudy Dregs, Wayrest
"That gods-damned freelancer. First he repeatedly spurns my job offers, then he plucks several items that the Union had their eyes on. I'll see that he regrets much, soon!"
--Count Hosni at-Tura
"Always pays for the finest steel and arrows I can deliver. An' always all black arrows that cost extra. I thought I could shoot a bow, but he can feather just about any target."
--Helese Gelves, The Red Squall Armory, Wayrest
"Knows the value of the best leather armor I can craft and is willing to spend for it. Never visits alone, always has a beauty on his arm."
--Amal, Lion Crown Outfitters, Wayrest
"Funny how things seem to go missing when he's around. If he's not careful, he'll end up dancin' on the end of a rope. I think he's connected somehow to that antiquarian's murder from last year. He used to work for the old man, but we can't find anything solid to tie him to those four deaths. And I think he's got some connection to that "Shay" business from early in the year. That was bloody work, and those that know him say he don't work like that, but something about that case..."
--Captain Etienne, Wayrest City Guard
"Rents a room here pretty regularly. Quiet, keeps to himself in the common room, tips well. Did you want to leave a note for him?"
--Gregoire LaFont, Innkeeper, The Rosy Lion, Daggerfall
"That man has the most damnable good luck at cards that I've ever seen!"
--Chamberlain Croix, Daggerfall
"Seen him at the Treasury wall talkin' once wit' that Redguard woman, the one from Emeric's castle."
--Sternal at-Sentinel, Wayrest
"I tried to convince him to renounce his wicked ways, to embrace the light of St. Pelin, but he laughed and walked away into the darkness. The Abbess says he's been marked by the Mistress of Shadows"
--Brother Amiberl, St. Pelin's Chapel, Evermore
